This site had an established garden, however, the owners with a growing family wanted a swimming pool to complete the picture. It was critical to balance the size of the proposed pool with the desire to retain a generous amount of lawn for the kids. The swimming pool was positioned close to one boundary with minimal walkway to this side to maintain just the right amount of lawn.
A tall timber screen acts as part of the pool enclosure and also conceals the clothesline, chicken run and vegetable garden. The bougainvillea will be trained over the screen to soften its appearance and bring a riot of colour to this calming area.
The use of ‘fully frameless’ glass fencing ensures a seamless transition between lawn and swimming pool.
